Blepharoplasty can correct sagging eyelids and remove excess skin from the upper eyelids. Sometimes even after a great nights sleep, it can be hard to feel alive and vibrant when you see those tired drooping eyes looking back at you from the mirror.

The surgery is performed in office with local anesthesia and takes approximately one hour. The surgeon places fine incisions in the crease above each eye and a thin crescent of excess skin is removed. The incision is closed with very fine sutures. After the surgery the area around your eye may have some bruising and swelling. This is usually resolved in less than 2 weeks. The tiny scars will be hidden in the eyelid crease and fade in about two months, at which time they are not at all noticeable. After this surgery clients have a more alert, youthful look to their faces.
